The Rolex Yacht-Master 40 reference 116622 is the Rolesium version of Rolex’s nautical line, an exclusive combination of 904L Oystersteel stainless steel and platinum. Its 40 mm Oyster case, water-resistant to 100 metres thanks to its screw-down crown, houses a bidirectional rotating bezel in 950 platinum, graduated over 60 minutes, whose raised numerals and matte sandblasted finish are among the model’s most recognisable signatures.

The dark rhodium grey dial is highlighted by light blue accents on the “Yacht-Master” inscription and the seconds hand. Its round Chromalight luminescent indexes, triangle at 12 o’clock and baton indexes at 6 and 9 o’clock offer excellent legibility. The date window at 3 o’clock, topped by the Cyclops lens, is visible through a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.

The automatic Calibre 3135 movement, entirely designed and manufactured by Rolex, features 31 jewels, beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and incorporates a blue paramagnetic Parachrom hairspring. It offers a power reserve of approximately 48 hours and precision certified as a Superlative Chronometer.

Presented on a stainless steel Oyster bracelet with Oysterlock clasp and Easylink extension, this watch combines the elegance of a dress watch with the robustness of a sports watch.
