The Rolex Submariner Date reference 116610LN marks a key milestone in the model’s history: produced from 2010 to 2020, it introduced the black Cerachrom ceramic bezel, an innovation that would later equip the entire Submariner range. A cult reference among collectors, the “LN” in its name (“Lunette Noire”, black bezel) refers precisely to this major evolution.
