With a diameter of 41 mm and a thickness of just 9.7 mm, Raymond Weil achieves a successful watchmaking feat with the Freelancer GMT Worldtimer, offering a complex mechanism housed within a wonderfully slim model.

The Freelancer GMT Worldtimer is fitted with a rotating flange indicating 24 cities around the world, located in each of the time zones. The dial is adorned with hands coated in Super-LumiNova®, for enhanced time readability. A simple adjustment of the crown, located at 4 o’clock, to the desired position displays the local time, while leaving the other 23 time zones equally visible.

The timepiece features a stainless steel case, paired with a bezel and two bronze crowns. The green gradient-toned dial offers a play of light and shadow reminiscent of the transition between day and night. Coated in Super-LumiNova®, the blue or green emission hands further enhance readability.

At the heart of the Freelancer GMT Worldtimer lies the Calibre RW4200, a Swiss automatic movement measuring 4.1 mm thick, fitted with a 56-hour power reserve. The bridges feature a pearled finish on the lower surface and Côtes de Genève on the upper surface; the oscillating weight, meanwhile, is adorned with Côtes de Genève. The movement can be observed through a sapphire crystal, which will delight purists and traditional watchmaking enthusiasts. The watch comes with a calfskin leather strap, embellished with tone-on-tone stitching and a deployant clasp, featuring a double push-button security system.
