Description
There is nothing quite like the Antarctic Spider. A true conversation piece, this eccentric 1970s-inspired design features a sector “Spider” dial in a rich salmon hue. Eight vertical baton indexes are connected by radial lines converging towards the centre — hence its nickname “Spider”. Sophisticated, distinctive and graphically hypnotic, this watch draws every eye and challenges established norms.
A faithful reissue of the bold 1970s Antarctic Spider, it comes in a polished and brushed stainless steel case measuring 38 mm in diameter and 11.1 mm thick, protected by a double-domed sapphire crystal treated with anti-reflective coating, as scratch-resistant as diamond. A screw-down crown at 3 o’clock allows the three luminescent Dauphine hands to be set, while the screw-down case back guarantees water resistance to 100 metres (10 ATM).
At the heart of the watch beats a Swiss automatic SOPROD P024 movement, offering reliability and precision. The Antarctic Spider is available with ten different straps, each paired with a silver-coloured pin buckle.
